28 Days at the Park

Everyone says love hurts, but that is not true. Loneliness hurts. Rejection hurts. Losing someone hurts. Envy hurts. Everyone gets these things confused with love, but in reality love is the only thing in this world that covers up all pain and makes someone feel wonderful again. Love is the only thing in this world that does not hurt.

It’s not my responsibility to be beautiful, I’m not alive for that purpose. My existence is not about how desirable you find me.

Light is more important than the lantern,
The poem more important than the notebook,
And the kiss more important than the lips.
My letters to you
Are greater and more important than both of us.
They are the only documents
Where people will discover
Your beauty
And my madness.

antiblossom:

you have to say some things out loud if you want to make things stop feeling so heavy. you need to make thoughts go forward into words because they dont weigh as much as your head does when you’re sitting there wanting the feelings to go away. sometimes I sleep when I am upset and it makes me feel like im poisoning my brain.
